By 1939, in the US, sealed beam lights were introduced, and became compulsory on all vehicles between 1940 and 1983. Some cars still employed them into the 90's. The yellow-orange incandesent-type light emmitted by their tungsten filaments was the only reliable night-time driving illumination until the LED headlight was only recently perfected and now has become ubiquitous on all new automobiles. But what about vintage classic automobiles, like old Corvettes, muscle cars and classics? The physical design of new LED headlights (the lens, reflector and overall shape) is just too contemporary for a vintage classic car. But finally, Bangin' Headlights came along and designed an LED headlight that looks like a real high quality Sealed Beam, from back in the day, as if they were to still exist, but with improved technology. The result is a very retro look while still being able to enjoy the vast improvement offered by today's advanced technology.
