I honestly couldn’t be happier with the headlight from Banging Headlights for my 1998 Softail Heritage! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for all along. It delivers an incredible amount of light while still maintaining that classic, old-school appearance that makes these bikes so special. I love the fact that I can upgrade the lighting and improve visibility without sacrificing the original style and character of my Heritage.
The difference at night is unbelievable! The road is so much better illuminated, and riding after dark is a completely different experience. It gives me the light output I’ve always wanted while keeping the timeless look of the bike intact. For anyone who loves the traditional look of an older Harley but wants modern lighting performance, this headlight is exactly the kind of upgrade I was hoping to find. Now, I’m really hoping Banging Headlights will come out with a 4.5-inch yellow light for the passing lamps! That would be the perfect finishing touch to complete the setup. I think a matching yellow light would look fantastic with the main headlight and give the bike an even more distinctive, classic appearance. I would love to have that same great light output and quality in the passing lamps while keeping the vintage style I love so much. picture coming soon.
